The Birthday Party Project is a national nonprofit dedicated to bringing joy to children experiencing homelessness through the magic of birthday celebrations. They partner with homeless shelters and transitional housing facilities across the U.S. to host in-person parties and deliver “Birthday in a Bag” kits filled with gifts, games, and party supplies. Every month, trained volunteers—known as Birthday Enthusiasts—create festive, age‑appropriate experiences that help kids ages 1–18 feel seen, known, and celebrated. With over 80,000 children served and thousands of parties hosted to date, the project fosters consistency, community connection, and emotional uplift for families in transition. Each celebration offers a moment of normalcy and delight during difficult times, reminding children that their lives and dreams matter.

The ATI Foundation proudly supported this mission by funding and assembling 300 birthday bags, helping ensure more children feel celebrated and cared for—no matter their circumstances.
