Heather has worked in the government contracting industry since 2001 supporting DoW, DOE, and commercial customers in industry sectors including homeland security, telecommunications, aerospace, nuclear remediation, and scientific research & development.​

She joined ATI’s accounting team in 2018 to manage the accounts payable team. Heather also managed finances for five (5) ATI programs that are separate entities (similar to the Foundation).

In May 2024, Heather graduated from the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Charleston program. She earned an MBA from Charleston Southern University and a Certificate of Professional Accountancy from Trident Technical College.​
