ATI Foundation Invests $500,000 in Charleston Workforce Housing Fund

The ATI Foundation announced a $500,000 investment in the Charleston Workforce Housing Fund, a collaborative initiative led by the Charleston Regional Development Alliance (CRDA) to expand access to affordable housing for the region’s workforce.

The Charleston region continues to experience rapid growth, creating opportunities but also challenges in housing affordability. By supporting this fund, the ATI Foundation is addressing one of the most pressing barriers facing employers and employees alike: ensuring workers can live near where they work.

When people can afford to live where they work, everyone benefits. Families are stronger, businesses can grow, and our community thrives. That’s why we’re proud to invest in the Charleston Workforce Housing Fund.  Together we are creating stability today and opportunity for the future.
— Dolly Pelto, ATI Foundation Executive Director

The ATI Foundation focuses on funding solutions that create long-term impact rather than temporary fixes. By contributing to the Charleston Workforce Housing Fund, the Foundation is reinforcing its mission of strengthening local communities, empowering individuals, and supporting sustainable workforce pipelines that benefit both residents and businesses.
