The Lowcountry Food Bank is a key ally in strengthening South Carolina’s communities. Serving 10 coastal counties, they unite hundreds of local partners (meal sites, senior centers, veterans’ groups, shelters, and schools) to ensure consistent access to nutritious food.  Their work is especially impactful in combating childhood hunger. Through innovative school-based programs, students receive fresh produce and pantry staples right where they learn—removing barriers to nourishment and learning .  With more than 240 partner agencies and a thriving volunteer network, the Lowcountry Food Bank is building a future where every neighbor has the food and support they need to thrive.
